High-Purity Chromium Metal (Vacuum Melting Grade & Industrial Grade)
Chromium Metal is a high-purity vacuum-processed metallic additive utilized primarily in the production of nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys, specialty stainless steels, and non-ferrous master alloys. Supplied in vacuum-packed chunks, flakes, or milled powder, our chromium metal is produced via aluminothermic reduction or electrolytic refining, followed by vacuum degassing to control interstitial gas levels (oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen). It acts as a critical hardening and corrosion-resistant element in high-performance structural components exposed to extreme thermal and corrosive environments.

Key Features
Low Gas Content
Controlled oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen levels minimize inclusion formation during vacuum induction melting (VIM).
Strict Impurity Control
Minimized sulfur, phosphorus, and silicon contents prevent unwanted phase precipitation in grain boundaries.
Consistent Physical Form
Clean, vacuum-sealed chunks or flakes ensure predictable dissolution rates and recovery rates in electric arc furnaces (EAF) or induction furnaces.
Traceable Mill Processing
Each production lot undergoes optical emission spectroscopy and inert gas fusion analysis prior to release.

Quality Control & Manufacturing Capability
Our manufacturing facility operates under ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D quality management systems.

Melting & Refining
Vacuum induction degassing furnaces remove volatile impurities and lower interstitial gas concentrations.

Analytical Equipment
Element concentrations are verified using Thermo Fisher ICP-OES and LECO gas analyzers for every single heat.

Sizing Control
Mechanical crushing and screening lines ensure strict particle size distribution and minimize fine dust carryover.
