Calcined Anthracite

Calcined anthracite is used in activated carbon production and is one of the important raw materials for preparing activated carbon. Through further activation treatment, calcined anthracite can be made into activated carbon with developed pore structure and huge specific surface area, which is widely used in water treatment, air purification, food and beverage decolorization, chemical catalysis and other fields.

Raw material selection Its raw coal with low ash content, low sulfur content and high fixed carbon content is preferred. In general, anthracite with ash content less than 10%, sulfur content less than 1% and fixed carbon content higher than 80% is more suitable for calcination, which can lay the foundation for high-quality calcined anthracite products.
