Silicon 441

What is silicon 441?
Silicon 441 is a high-purity industrial silicon material, made of high-quality quartz sand, charcoal and electrode paste as raw materials, refined by electric furnace high-temperature smelting process.
Its silicon content is ≥98.5%, and the impurity contents of iron, aluminum and calcium are controlled within 0.4%, 0.4% and 0.1% respectively.

Uses of Silicon 441 :
1. It is used as a polycrystalline silicon raw material for the production of solar cells to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency.
Photovoltaic grade Silicon 441 can be made into electronic grade silicon material after purification to meet the needs of the semiconductor industry. Precious it is added to aluminum melt as a deoxidizer and alloying element to improve the fluidity, strength and corrosion resistance of the material.

2.Silicon 441 enhances the high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of refractory bricks, and prolongs the service life of steel smelting and glass kilns. It is suitable for high-end aluminum alloy products such as automobile wheels and aerospace structural parts.

3. Silicon 441 has the characteristics of high purity stability, low calcium control, strong process adaptability, stable reaction activity and environmental protection. It is widely used in photovoltaic, semiconductor, aluminum alloy and refractory materials.
