The Ferro Silicon Barium Inoculant is a gray-black or silver-gray block or granular metallurgical material with metallic luster and uniform particle size, usually in the specifications of 0.1-0.4mm, 0.2-0.7mm or 1-3mm. Ferro Silicon Barium is an important material commonly used in the foundry industry, mainly composed of elements such as silicon and barium, and also contains a small amount of calcium, aluminum, etc. The performance advantages of silicon-barium paste inoculant are significant. Ferro Silicon Barium can strongly promote graphitization, so that gray cast iron can obtain type A graphite, and ductile iron graphite is fine and round; Ferro Silicon Barium Inoculant can effectively reduce the tendency of white cast iron and improve the cutting performance of castings; it has strong anti-recession ability, and the anti-recession time is twice that of 75 silicon. The addition amount is low, and it can also prevent spheroidization recession; the wall thickness sensitivity is small, which can reduce shrinkage. In addition, it has stable chemical composition, low melting point, easy absorption, and less slag. It is mainly used in the production of gray cast iron and ductile iron, and is suitable for a variety of castings. Ferro Silicon Barium Inoculant is widely used in the inoculation treatment of ductile iron and gray cast iron, which can effectively prevent spheroidization and corrosion.
