Barium (Ba) offers strong deoxidizing and desulfurizing ability with lower volatility than Calcium or Strontium, ensuring stable inoculation performance;

Ferro Silicon Barium Inoculant is widely used for Gray Cast Iron and Ductile Iron inoculation treatment.
Its main functions are:

Improve graphite morphology and distribution, promote the formation of A-type graphite, and reduce coarse or irregular graphite structures;

Refine grains and improve the matrix structure, enhancing strength and toughness of cast iron;

Reduce chilling tendency, minimize carbide formation, and produce a more uniform structure;

Provide strong anti-fading effect, ensuring long-lasting inoculation performance;

Reduce porosity and shrinkage defects, improving density and mechanical properties of castings.
