Ferro Silicon Alloy
Ferro Silicon Alloy is made of coke, steel scraps and quartz as raw materials, and is smelted by high-temperature reduction and smelting at 1500-1800 °C. Ferrosilicon's unique magnetic properties (high permeability, low iron loss) and stability (temperature/vibration sensitivity) make it the core material of power transformer cores and silicon steel.
In the metallurgical industry, Ferro Silicon Alloy are mainly used for deoxidation of steelmaking, improve the quality of steel, reduce chromium oxide loss, and can also be used as fuel to reduce energy costs.
