553 silicon metal is made from over 98.5% high-purity quartz and anthracite through reduction smelting in a submerged arc furnace. The total impurity content (Fe+Al+Ca) is ≤1.3%, and its composition is stable.

 

Shape and Appearance
The product has a silver-gray metallic luster, a solid and dense block without pulverization, closely packed grains, and a uniform appearance.

 

High-Temperature Durability
With a melting point of up to 1414°C, it remains resistant to cracking or deformation in high-temperature smelting environments, extending its service life by approximately 30% compared to ordinary silicon.
