‌Casting materials are mainly divided into four types: cast steel materials, cast iron materials, cast copper materials and cast aluminum materials‌. These materials are widely used in different industrial fields due to their respective characteristics. ‌

Cast steel materials
Cast steel materials are made by fusing different metal materials such as iron, carbon, chromium, manganese, and molybdenum, and have the characteristics of high hardness, corrosion resistance, and stable performance. Its hardness is higher than that of cast iron materials, and it is suitable for use in mechanical equipment with large load-bearing requirements. However, due to the limitations brought by mixed metals, the flow properties of cast steel materials are poor and are not suitable for mechanical equipment that requires precise joints.

Cast iron materials
Cast iron materials have strong magnetism and conductivity and good ductility. It is often used for structural welding, but attention should be paid to temperature control during annealing to avoid brittleness of the material. Cast iron materials have a low cost and are suitable for mass production.

Cast copper materials
Cast copper materials are widely used due to their good processability and scratch resistance. It is suitable for industries such as hydropower generation because of its strong airtightness and resistance to corrosion. Depending on the copper content and auxiliary materials, cast copper materials can be divided into types such as tin bronze.

Cast aluminum material
Cast aluminum material has low density and good ductility, and is suitable for mechanical equipment with complex operation and high height, such as the aerospace industry. Due to its low density and light weight, it is suitable for use in equipment that requires lightweighting.
